Crash During Game Start up

Everytime I start up GalCiv2 Beta the game crashes.

I have repetedly reinstalled the application and this has not fixed the problem.

This started after I changed the graphis Config on my first installation.

Anyhelp with this proplem would be greatly appreicated.

Atlas1369, are you still having these problems? Does restoring the default settings from GCConfig fix the crash?
