E3: Beta 2 screenshots

Gamespot has some screenshots of the upcoming Beta 2 of Galactic Civilizations II.  The interface has been significantly changed and many other tweaks.

Beta 2 will be available to those woh have pre-ordered the game in about two weeks.

While I was looking through the screenshots (awesome) I found that on a custom race screen under the political tab it reads "20%%" twice when describing the populist bonuses. Minor bug but not good for a screenshot!

Ah, custom race. Heres hoping that I can construct my dream race. A mass produced robot race that consumes all in its path. Think "The Matrix". It will essentially be a continually spreading plague upon the universe.

Sounds more like the Replicators from Stargate than the robots in the Matrix. In fact, it sounds a little like the Yor.

Just the Yor are subtler, more cunning and a little more lighthearted than the regular killing machines.

Pics are great.

I dont remember seeing on on how much you can tweak the AI.
