Renew TotalGaming.net

I hope this is the right forum for this but I couldn't find a contact email. I'm wondering why TotalGaming.net renew price is the full price. My subscription is going to expire in a little more than a month and I thought it used to be about $60.00 instead of about $90.00 to renew. If I'm mistaken I would like to know how to renew for just about $60.00. If not I think I'll just buy the individual games I want. Shelling out $90.00 a year is not financialy sound, as far as I'm concerned, for updates of games and one new game every once in a while.

Well, I think thatt hey have removed this link since there were talk about having a second phase for TGN, based on tokens, after E3. Your subscription corresponds to a number of token that allows you to purchase games available on TGN. Once you have paid the token cost for the game, yopu are free to download at anytime the game. And people having an active TGN account when this phase will happen will be marked as having paid the price for alla available TGN games at this time, meaning you are free to download them with paying a token cost.

And since the system will remember what games you have "purchased" with your TGN subscription, you will be able to download them later, even if your subscription is no longer active.

I think I have everything correct, but I may be wrong. You should hunt some thread about the new version of TGN in the various forums available on TGN site.

Hi uglycow,

If your subscription isn't going to expire until mid-late June, then hold off on renewing. As Peace Phoenix indicated, those with active TG accounts will be automatically transitioned when we launch the next phase of the TotalGaming service. You'll have permanent access to all the current TG titles, plus get 10 tokens to use towards new games (which works out gangbusters for you, since your subscription is nearly over - it's like getting a $70 value free).
