Ship Design Bug

Three for one?

While I was messing with the framerates, suggested from BoogieBac's thread. Link

I found a bug in the ship design screen. I clicked on Cargo Ship and I was zooming in and out with the wheel mouse. I was also holding right click and moving around to see if my framerate would drop and such. Then I was just randomly left clicking on top of the cargo ship and all of a sudden it made two more cargo ships where that one was! As you can see, I made a yellow circle showing that there are 3 cargo ships. Also you can tell by the shown graphics that there are more than one cargo ship on the screen.

I also reproduced the effect with the top small ship hull. Unfortunatly I didn't take a screen shot of it. I just left clicked on the top small hull (the one below medium size) and left clicked a bunch of times where the ship graphics are. It only made one more on top of it, unlike the extra two from the cargo ship. I tried the other ships but they don't work... atleast not yet anyway.

I can also reproduce the cargo ship one again. I have yet to actually try to build a ship when there are two or three in one. But I suspect that a CTD or a freeze would occur.

*Update*

I can easily do it to all ship hulls. I'm unsure if anyone else can but I want you guys to try.

Go into design. Click on new. Then click on one of the hulls. Then click on a hardpoint (those red circles you see on the ship) and where you clicked another ship will be put on it. Click on another hardpoint and it will do the same thing. Keep going if you want to.

I have yet to make a ship with this bug, but like I already said it will probably crash or something.

I've also noticed that sometimes a stray graphic gets introduced on the ship design screen... it just kinda sits there, not colored the same as the rest of the ship, nor does it rotate with the ship.

there's stray graphics often in my ship design screen. for some reason if you remove something it can get stuck in the top left hand corner.....

The sensor graphic always gets displayed in the top left hand corner if you just left-click on it once.

I have noticed the same stray graphic in the top left corner, and the inability to put it on the hull when that behaviour starts.

Well I have not had that one.
But I have been able to overfill the hulls. Ex. 99 out of 90 on a transport.
Furthermore I have not been able to add the non space consuming extras on an already full ship.

as i noted on baaka's report, it is possible to build a ship oversize if the remaining space is x and you place in a module x+y%.......
