Black screen of Death

Pentium 4 2.8G
Nvidia Gforce video card with 32mb Ram
40G hard drive
Windows XP

Installed the Game and worked at first.
Went into Options, and turned up anti aliasing, and has not worked since.
When i start the game it goes to the blackscreen, and doesnt come out. won't even Crash back to Desktop.
I uninstalled the game, and installed it again, and the problem still persists.

well i am not getting that problem but when i have that set to 4, if it is the first time i run a new game it work fine but if i quit that game to main menu and try to start a new one then i get a buffer overrun error and it shutdown. when i start it up again teh same thing, the first game will run but not the second game.

Did i give the appropriate amount of information for the beta testers.? or is there something i am missing, this is my forst time Beta testing anything. ( and i dont want to look like an idiot.)

Hey guys!

Elerian1: Yeah, it's good to post your specs, but even better, if you want to go into your GalCiv2 directory and find the "Debug.err" file and send that to Scott@Stardock.com with a description of the problem, that'd be awesome.

If your game ran w/o AntiAliasing, just go into the GalCv2/Data directory, open the "Prefs.ini" file, and set the "Multisample" value to equil "0" (ex. If you changed it to 4x AA, it'll look like "Multisample=4").
