Can't play together

I was hoping this would be a good game for me and my partner to play together. We signed up and created characters on metaverse but when we tried logging through the metaverse his kept having an error. Is the description inaccurate about this game being multiplayer?

The game does have MP.

If you are trying to play on two separate computers you are having a "Bug".

If you are trying "Hotseat" you are out of luck at this time as it is not an option at this time.

There has been much discussion of adding it but it is not in game at this time.

It will be a good game for you two to play, it takes time to get it running properly.

You were not able to join the MP site, or did you have trouble when you tried to launch a game?

Custom Civs among other things are not allowed at the moment as they are causing desyncs.

The multi-player channel on GCIVs Discord is the best place for info on these restrictions I would go there and look.
