I have installed Galactic Civ 2 after re-imaging my machine. I can't remember what email address I had used to register the game when I 1st got it a few years ago. I don't even remember what my user name on stardock was. So I made this new ID and still can't patch the game. Is there somewhere I can go and just download the patch rather than jumping through hoops and getting nowhere?
You do need the game registered to get updates. If you don't recall which email you used but know of some possibilities, or other details of your lost account, contact support@stardock.com and they may be able to help recover it.
