For some reason or another, I feel like making a bunch of custom races instead of using some of the default races. Problem is, I've only played about 2.5 games, so I don't know the different AI types well enough to know which one will fit which custom race I'm making...
I know the Arceans are warlike, but are easy enough to be friends with; The Torians are wusses, but will often buy the aid of other races to fight FOR them; the Terrans expand relatively fast and are cagey in discussion, but are usually reasonable; and the thalans expand like rats and steal good planets CLEARLY in your territory.
I haven't gotten to know the Altarians well enough yet, the Korx got wiped out really fast in that one game I played, and I can't figure out the Yor....
If anyone can give me a brief rundown of how the AI personality influences custom races, that would be awesome. Also, below I'll list the 4 custom races I want to make/have made.

Races I've played as, and now want to experience as rivals:
The seeker union:
This was the first race I played with (Terran tech tree + super diplomat). They're basically like the terrans, but slightly Good-aligned, and only really go to war when attacked, or when defending an ally. I was thinking of giving them the altarian AI, but I'm not too sure.
The Tekk Imperative:
Race of AIs (Yor tech tree + Super hive). Unlike the Yor, they care nothing for war, are purely neutral and would rather just be left alone to research non-stop than fight (Ironically, I got an alliance victory when playing these guys). I set them to generic in that half-match I played and it seemed to work.
And then we have two races I want to make just for the lulz. I'm going to import new portraits for them.
the Koopa Kingdom:
That's right. As in Bowser. The mario villain. Troops are incredibly loyal, and they declare war on a whim, but have lesser tech and aren't all that smart. I'm not sure what tech tree or ability to take for them (probably either super warrior or the Drengin super ability), nor am I sure what personality to give them.
The Kingdom of Celestia
Yes, as in the new my little pony. What? The mere concept of them on a galactic scale is hilarious! I want to see that happen!
Essentially, they have next to no war potential, but are amazing at spreading their culture. I'm thinking of giving them Super Diplomat, and using the Krynn tech tree, since it's supposed to be based on spreading their culture. No clue what AI to use.
