game is completely shutting down after about 20-30 minutes of play. nothing comes up except saying game has stopped working. i bought the ultimate edition 4 days ago and i cant play it. pretty frustrated. i am playing on a compaq presaria 1024mb mem, 200gb hd, nvidia geforce 6150se. running vista. help me please. i enjoyed this game about 2 years ago and recently couldnt find it so went out to buy it and now cant play it. (btw, i have cpu hooked to flatscreen but if it gives me 30 mintues of playtime i guess nothing is wrong with it being connected to flatscreen) i have no computer literacy at all so HELLLPP!!!! THANKS
You should post your debug.err info, just after it crashes.
You can open the file with Notepad, then (select all) copy and paste into the reply box.
The file is usually located in My Documents\My Games\Galciv2.
