Ya, well...
Did you know that John Locke was a very influential person from the 17th century? In fact, many of his ideas had a direct influence on the wording of the U.S.'s Declaration of Independence (Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness - things like that), and the Constitution (the separation of governmental powers, for example). Thomas Jefferson considered him to be one of the three greatest men that ever lived.

Kinda strange that, in the series, Locke started out that way but ended up being the equivalent of Satan.
Or, is that just another way of saying that the U.S.A. is the Great Satan - as so many Muslims consider it?
