I wanted to install GCII on my new laptop (ASUS UL80Vt) running Windows 7 (Home Premium 64bit).  I loaded it from my old disks and installed Impulse and logged into my account.  When I try to update GCII (from v1.00 to v1.53?) via Impulse, itseems to download the patch (403.79MB) and then get stuck "verifying" for at least 30min after which I loose patience and cancel the download.  I have purchased all the expansions (Dark Avatar and Twilight), but I haven't re-installed them on the new computer.  Any help here?
