I GM-ed a Dark Heresy game where one Inquisitor was using an Ork Kult of Speed pilot, a Tau bodyguard and an Eldar Psyker...he was a radical, unsurprisingly.

 

and no, the PCs were technically under his command..what with being in the Halo Star, outside the Imperium and all..

while i have no problem of tau being slaughtered by impure spess mereehhns it seems a bit heretical for an inquisitor to work with them, i guess he just used them as cannon fodder.

 

we all know what will happen when the killteam arives ryat and his fellow mutated spess merehhns will escape in metuhl bawkses
