what did you think about the new stargate series

I liked the new series it started out well the acient ship is cool and much faster than any asgard our turi ships so post your thoughts on the show.

Aside from the "political" death of that investor/senator to seal the shuttle door... the whole premise seem pretty slick. The situation looks like ST:Voyager as they will have to find a way back from huge distances.

I enjoyed the rendering of the ship's (Destiny!) galactic path with blue lines on that console screen.

And blowing up a whole planet was quite spectacular.

Excellent character composition by Robert Carlyle of Dr. Rush.

The graphics are pretty stuning but I dont particularly enjoy the Lost-ish way they present characters its a nice sidedish but I actually enjoyed the fights both in space and inland of Atlantis if it can put up with both thats a winner for me, though i would like for the season to end before casting a definite vote. ( Ididnt like the sotne-communicator part though I would have enjoyed it more if they where withou earth contact).
