It's like reading only 20% of a murder mystery...  can anyone fill in the blanks?

There is no story. Boogie just came in and said that right off the bat

Poor eets. He had to hear it from Boogie himself.

So I estimate either  eets  is very good friends with the developers at Stardock and due to personal interests was banned from the alpha  OR   eets somehow antagonized one or more of the developers thus received the personal denial message.

He's one of the IRC regulars. I can't speak to whether or not he's "very good friends", being that he gives pretty much all of them crap (playfully).
