Ok, this was a little weird. I don't know if there's been a similar problem elsewhere, I couldn't find anything about it.
Anyway...
I love shipbuilding, so I was doing some shipbuilding in Dark Avatar, and I was also using some templates I downloaded from the Library, some Terran Naval-style ships. anyway, I started playing a game with a custom race using the Terran style of ships, and I used one of the templates I downloaded for one of my warships. I loaded the custom ship, upgraded to make it a template, then used the template to make the warship, and also made an upgrade of said warships, though giving it a different name. In this instance, I used a design called the CVN-Deadless II (medium hull), and renamed it the DD-143 Charybdis and DD-143B Charybdis II. Anyway, I quick-saved the game, and when I tried to reload it, the ships had disappeared. Not that they went missing; their icons were still there, and i could still click on them and tell them to move and stuff, but nothing was showing; they were invisible. And when i went to the shipyard to try and fix it, the designs for the warships were invisible as well, and the original template I used had disappeared. I tried reloading it and the same thing happened. I checked the ships folder and the .xml files and the .shipcfg files still exist and are there, but the ships show nothing on the screen. Can I get them back, or will I have to redesign them, or what?
