It would be nice if there were an update for the map editor as there are some very common features in map editors that are missing:

- Drag and selecting multiple items. (Keeping the left click to move, hold shift while holding left click to drag and select multiple items.)

- Individual layers for each type of placement. (I.e. Planet layer, Ship layer, Asteroid layer, ext. Best with a check box function for selecting only ships and planets with a single drag and select.)

- Copy and Paste function.

- Rotating current selection. (Intended for drag and selecting multiple items and easily creating symmetrical maps.)

- Editing multiple items at once. (Example: Randomly selecting planets on a map to change their color or size without randomly placing them or disrupting any already placed items at the same time.)

- Deleting multiple items in a corner or small area without having to click and delete one item at a time.

- Ability to have a white background to easily see current placements without having them blend into the background. (A simple toggle would suffice.)

- Ability to reset the camera without closing and opening the same map. (A button press, holding middle mouse button and right clicking, or double click middle mouse button.)

If it's even possible, it'd all be a huge addition to what's already available. Having a map editor at all is great, having one that's convenient to use and gets me back to playing faster is awesome. Please find the time to patch in these awesome features. Thank you for any of your time!
