I play the DL-Campaign of GalCivII Ultimate on normal difficulty. Did someone survive the mission "Salation"?

I tried to expand as fast as possible and was to slow for getting any more planet than the two i started with.

Meanwhile i started to research the best tech (and shared tech with the other teammates) to defend my two worlds from the DL (i sacrificed a fighter to get the information about the equipemt of the DL). But the money is capped and the DL burns me in a short time to ashes.

Is there any trick to survive this mission?
