I haven't played GC2 v 1.0 in a while and would like to again. I've installed it from the CD onto my new Dell with 6 G Ram, Dual core, ATI Tadeon HD 3450 etc. with Vista Home Premium 64 (new 1/09). GC2 ran roughly for awhile with random crashes and hangups but was bearable as games could be completed. Now it's taking an hour to load a saved game. If I look at Task Manager, it says "not responding" yet if I let it sit long enough it eventually loads.

I've had a few other 64 bit quirks in other programs so I though downloading the latest version might help. I installed Impulse. Impulse just sits there "running" at the initial screen and never finishes loading. When I end Impluse it says it's not responding. Is there any other way to download a more recent verion?

I also set my virtual memory to 20G just in case that was a problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
