Xbox 360?

Should I get one?

I've been thinking about finally getting a 360 for a while now. My main problems are that they are expensive (at least to get one with a harddrive, which I assume I want) and that I am not sure if there are enough games that I would actually want to get. Then, while I was browseing Amazon, I saw that a new bundle is coming out in a couple days that is the Xbox 360 Elite, and it comes with Halo 3 and Fable II, both of which are games that I would get if I got a 360, for $400. So, what do you guys think? Is it worth it? Should I get a 360? If I got one, what games would you suggest?

Yeah i got an xbox a few weeks ago and i am hoping to get xbox live soon. Halo best game ever. We also have a few sporty games but i prefer halo 3

I tried halo 3 and couldn't get into it. Aiming compared to playing on a PC is like using a gun mounted on a drunken camel.

if you're used to mouse-aiming, yes. if you're used to thumbstick-aiming, then it's the pc that's like a gun mounted on a camel.

it does take some getting used but then its pretty easy. also i never been good at Pc FPS games. the only computer games im good at are strategy and rpg games. oh and you should get fallout 3 for the xbox. its great game. its an rpg game where you have a main quest but you can do pretty much everything

This. My first FPS was on a console, and since then I've always prefered console shooting over PC shooting.

Two things; 1. When did Rock Band, Guitar Hero, etc ever get mentioned in this thread. 2. I agree with you on that, which is why I will never buy one of those games, but still, that was kind of random

well 360 gets a bunch of dudes coming over to your house running up the 'lectricity bill, eating all your food, drinking all your beer, and staying up 'till the wee hours of the morning. All just a matter of taste I suppose. If you like hairy smelly guys that is. Then again, if you don't like 'em hairy, I guess you could just wax them and write on their faces w/ markers when they eventually pass out; which has to be worth a bit so-long as you can film it and upload it on you... tube.
