Speed Limit

How do I stop this?

Ok in ToA, I am always getting hit with the "speed limit". So I love ToA but I hate this part. Will cutting off mega events stop this, although I don't like doing that. Also it says this was a "rule/law" imposed by the UP, so I tried leaving them but still i am bound by their limit. Anything else I can do w/o limiting the rest of the game?

You have two options: turning off mega events and illegal time travel (reloading an autosave prior to the event). There's no way of turning off mega events selectively.
