This seems to be a common theme in games these days: "T&A." For those of you unfamiliar with that phrase, it means "tits and ass."
Guys, get your minds out of the gutter. Gals, bear with me here.
Fairly recent examples include Bloodrayne II, The Guy Game, and SRS: Street Racing Syndicate (an entire game where the whole point is to, get this, win girlfriends). Dare I bring up Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude? The promo pic being used on EBgames.com for World of Warcraft? I think I should let the evidence speak for itself here.
I know it's always been around and this whole Janet Wardrobe Malfunction thing has fucked up the situation somehow. Don't ask me how. I'm not really for censorship here, either, but I think it's time for a little equal opportunity.
In other words, let's give the women something to play with. Being a guy myself, it's all fun and good to look at half naked women but I'm sure if I had a girlfriend she'd be harpin' at me about this same thing right about now. I'm just Mr. Equal Opportunity so I think if games can have women in various states of undress then why not men? I won't buy it or look at it, but I think it'll make things more fucking exciting around here. And I'm all fucking for entertainment. What's a matter guys, you don't want your girls ogling half-dressed men? And it's okay for you to have your tongues half hanging out of your mouths as you gaze lustfully at that sultry, curvy babe on the cover of the latest game?
Women, we men owe you this much: the right to see us in the same state of undress as we've been able to see you, regardless of the media. Video games just so happen to be a bit behind the times. I'm sure that, if more females got into the gaming industry, we'd see this trend reverse itself. And it'd be about fucking time.
