Actually, this is the same as my own mods window! You wouldn't have happened to not have had a "mods" folder to begin with, would you? Don't worry, this doesn't affect the game performance in any way, you just can't see what you are doing...
funny you guys should mention this....i got the same thing with my mods window
TA 2.something bug, don't know why. Been reported at least twice already, but must not be a high priority.
Same issue with my mods window.
Same situation overhere... but if i read Kryo right in another thread, that's IT baby.
We can forget small tweaks or fixes for GC expansions for awhile since everyone is ON a fantasy trip to get Elemental in a betaready state.
Bof, that's okay, i can wrap my fingers around a few more weeks of X-Worlds or CoSH modding stuff.
PS; I wonder if simply editing the dxpack ourselves would solve this issue. I'll have a look and come back with answer if i have any solid evidence and an outsider personal fix for this silly "field gone" track.
PS2; Well, it certainly isn't a matter of the "OptionsModsWnd.dxpack" after checking it out. I think the incode routine for string recognition might be the culprit here.
You did not. No more major updates means exactly what it says. No more *major* updates. Brad plans to keep tweaking and there are at least a handful of little bug fixes already waiting in the queue, afaik.
See man, that's my usual personal problem with reading most english sentences properly, sometimes. Sorry about that, as long as we get our regular (but quite necessary) small (or slightly more complex, btw) tweaks & fixes to what he, you or we believe MUST absolutely be done to both DA & TA -- i'm all good with it!
Major updates could also be interpreted as a form of "additional features & gameplay modifications to the context itself & filling someone's wishlist for enhancements" stuff.
Lesson learned, in my case; i should tone down on trying to guess what many words have as a double-meaning hidden agenda.
Nevertheless, GC3 will be such a Major tweaking (again, i'm not exactly sure on that terminology either or if it is appropriate to use it in this context!) to previous codes, eventually.
To make it as clear as possible, no more major updates means "don't expect a 2.1". There will quite possibly be a couple more 2.0X updates, but as you already gathered it's going to be limited to bug fixes and Brad's balance tweaks. New features and such are very unlikely at this point.
Either way, don't begrude the devs for moving on to Elemental. It is, after all, the technical foundation of GC3
Yeah, that's sooooo true... i certainly may have come across in a wicked manner. Sorry, once more.
