WONT LET ME INSTALL GAME

i just bought the game at target today. put it in cdrw and wont run, i opened cdrw drive D under 'my computer' ...NOTHING..... just tried Warcraft III frozen throne and it worked fine....WHAT GIVES???

ALSO i played master of Orion II battle at antares, so i was really looking forward to trying this game... MAN and i cant take it back cuz i opened the seal... I meat all the system requirments too............................... HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
