Base Planet Quality 29?? / Mega event question.

Has there been a change in base planet quality cap?  I have two planets in my galaxy that I haven't colonized yet, one baren one aquatic that are both showing planet quality 29?  Last time I checked 26 was the max basic planet quality unless there was the mega event that changed planet quality which I haven't had.

Also another question, have they eliminated the change base quality planets to a certain planet quality for all planets with in a certain distance?

I recall seeing a max of 29 since DA, at least.  It's rare, but it's there.  How large is your galaxy, and what planet settings, by the way?

Not to my knowledge, but it's been a while since I've played with mega events.  (Fairly positive that's a mega, although I'm certain someone will correct me if I'm wrong.)

I had a 32PQ planet ONCE.     I took the racial PQ modifier and with some planet quality building (I traded for), I ended up with it. I will probably never see another one again!

I know you can get higher quality planets by upgrades or research, these two planets were initially class 29 before any colonization or mulitpliers.  This is a metaverse game in an immense galaxy.  Both are specialty planets, the highest I've ever seen for a base planet quality before this was 26.  I currently in my game control a 39 class planet from a 26 class planet with a initial mulitplier plus my races 10% boost and a researched 5% multiplier.

 I just started a game last night, and one planet right near my base planet was a Class 30.   Then kept on goin out there and found a class 25 and a class 27. This is gonna be one hell of a game.

I just got a game with a PQ 25 and 20 which is nice. The best one I ever had I think it was a  PQ 42... god that was one hell of a planet.

If only we could have more control over the terraforming 'values' or patterns of distribution, everyone would start seeking some rare PQ4 waaaayyy before reaching any tech boosting steps.

Sadly, even on a packed Immense... by that time, nobody can use it fresh & tough enough.

base planet was 36 and when i colonized it got an option to increase the planets base quility by 40% bumping it up to a whopping 50 unfortunately i messed up and diddent pick any racial ability's and forgot to take of ascension victory so i had to restart that game
