I played a game a couple weeks ago and had the pirate mega event pop up. I soon realized that the pirates didn't attack the minor races at all. It was interesting, as the minor races ended up building huge militaries and snatching all the galactic resources. For most of the game the minors were the most powerful civs. Interesting, but kind of weird.
Is this normal behavior for pirates, or some kind of bug?
