Game says that Ascension Victory is disabled

This may be a bug in Twilight 2.0...

While playing the game, the victory conditions screen it says that Ascension Victory is disabled. However, on the opening screen, while choosing the preferences for the game, I have Ascension Victory enabled. In my prefs file (My Documents/My Games/GCTwilightArnor/Prefs) it has the setting AscensionVictory=1.
