No bugs or weird happenings to report. Just thought I'd share some things from my current game that might be interesting. I notice that a lot of people report vastly different experiences while playing. Some say certain things never happen while others say it always does.
Playing on large, all-abundant obscene with 8 minors and 6 majors, Dark Avatar. I have, in the past, had a minor colonize another planet, but in this game I have 4 FOUR of them do it. One of those actually has a class 14 planet an economic resource starbase and 19 billion people on their home world. Their soldering was 105 while mine was maxed at something like 120. It took 3-3000 million transports to take that planet... from a MINOR. wow. I used information warfare since their morale was at 44%. If it wasn't for that resource I probably would have left them alone. I have never seen soldering like that from a minor or even most majors. Yes, i know i could have first used one transport with mass drivers. Didn't think of it at the time. I had all 3 ships fleeted. They also has some pretty good medium hulled ships... that scared me. I had to take them out in one shot or start worring about my own starbases.
This is absolutely a first for me and I didn't even know it could happen. This game is now down to me, the ypr and the drengin. All three of us have the artificial slave center. I had it first. Before this I have never see the AI even get any of the evil-only structures. Since the effects are civ wide, I'm wondering if I will get another military production boost when i take those planets. I'm still 9 turns away from an influence win so I'm building up my military until then. So i plan to gift a transport to the drengin in hopes that they will take the planet from the yor, reducing its population so that i can buy it from them cheap.
So, what kind of similar experiences have yau had?
And, does anyone know if the effects from artificial slave centers stack? Were these supposed to be one-only structures?
