So.... where is 'advanced' search?

Yes, I just don't see "Search" or "advanced search"

 

Don't tell me the only search function provided is that on the upper right side, since it is virtually unusuable.

The search has been totally unusable for a while. It seems to key any little thing you put in to search. Having a search with the number 6 in it would return every post because it will return any page with the number six on it. Seeing as the bottom of every page has the number 6 in the version number you get them all. Seems it need to only search post/reply content and not any and everything that gets displayed outside of the thread on the page. I really miss the search, I used to use it quite a bit and workarounds like Google are just annoying.

I snipped a reply by accident, but someone had said

Use google search and add site:https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com to it and you have a very good advanced search.

I'll restore that reply come Monday. Sorry about that.

The advanced search has been disabled for some time. We are planning to restore it at some point but do not have a definate date in place as of yet.
