Question:
Are higher tier Technology and Industrial Matrixes worth using for Thalans considering their increased production cost and gain being only in lesser maintenance then 1st tier?

2nd trier is mostly useful in my opinion, in case you already researched economy branch, and need a bit more cash (or something to be built on already fully built world). 5bc less maintenance for extra 100cost surely can't compare to stock exchange, but can give extra cash if all tiles are already taken.


As for 3rd tier, while Industrial Matrixes seems to have some use (after all, they are superior in maintenance to Industrial Sectors for same build cost) and give extra mining module, I'm at complete loss with Technology one.

It's stats are 12research, 8maintenance and 400 cost. Exactly same as Research Academies, exempt those cost just 150. Kinda something you would never ever use if tech trading is an option, and probably not even if it is not (just 2bc difference compared to 2nd tier).

Anyway, as a funny thing, flavor text for 3rd trier Tech buildings brags about them being superior to almost any research in galaxy, which is just not true (middle tier Research Center is already better).
