crash to desktop

I have found that if I never click on the SHIP/PLANET icon my game will never crash.

Once i click on that icon to locate certain ships i find that the game will start to crash a few turns later, might be 10 turns or 30 turns. But never have had a crash if i left that icon alone!!!

Just thought I would give my input
