Just installed the game from impulse and booted it. I can see the sun but all planets and ships are invisible (except for the little icons). Also, if I build a ship on a planet, you'll see the little ship orbiting around the (still invisible) planet.

Twilight also crashed once when I finished the pre-game setup. It loaded the game for about 2 seconds then CTD'ed while Vista tried to look for a solution.

I have the video settings maxed out with AA at 8x and the res at 1680x1050.
