ship images in the custom ship editor and planet images are spinning/flashing uncontrollably and when I try to scroll across the map the entire cursor disappears from the mini map and everything disappears from the screen.

I am using an ATI x1900 series video card w/ the most current Catalyst display drivers 8.476.0.0 driver dated 3/28/08.

Please let me know if this is a known issue and if there is a link to the fix.  I tried searching for flashing / blinking but could not find anything.
