Playing Dark Avatar v 1.80g.100:
First off, the behavior I am reporting is not the common "fleet movement bug" that was resolved in 1.80g.x
In my 2 most recent games, I noticed that my ships would randomly lose one of their movement points. These are metaverse games, prior games did not have this issue.
2 examples to illustrate:
1) A ship with a movement speed of 3/3 is moved 2 squares in open space, all is fine, but when trying to move to a third square the auto-pilot line kicks in with an "x # of turns" being displayed in the target square.
2) A freshly built ship with a movement of 1/1 is launched into orbit, but it is unable to move until the next turn.
I haven't been able to find any commonalities in these problems. It happens randomly; seemingly regardless of ship type and location. Furthermore, a ship may display the bug one turn, be fine a turn or two thereafter, then have the bug again. Some ships seem not to have the problem at all, while on the other hand some ships will always move 1 square less than their movement points should allow. Autopilot modes also randomly have the same problem.
I found a save game where I could semi-consistently reproduce the bug, I will post the debugg.err in a reply.
