Yay!
I'm so delighted to grab this game and to read the reviews in teh UK.

I beta tested GalCiv1 and what a great game that is. I don't play it anywhere near as much as I shoud do, primarily cos I'm pretty crap at it TBH, but when I read that Sins was under developement as a x4RTS, I must admit I was swceptical that an Indie developer (sorry!) could pull this off and drifted away from teh Stardock forums for a while.

Today I picked up PC Zone (UK) and read Richie Shoemaker's review - what can I say? well teh following.... PCZ is a mag I have subscribed to for 10 years, and whilst I love it it has its faults, I think it favours FPS, gets a bit close to certain devs, and isn't a huge strategy mag. It also is pretty mean with its award scores which is a great thing. I recall GC2 got 60+ yawn. To flick open teh pages and see a CLASSIC award: 91% was, well qute frankly gobsmacking.

To quote Richie:

"Sins of a Solar Empire is light years ahead of teh competition and to miss it woul dbe unforgivable".

I bet leave it at that, cept to say I'm delighted to be back into a Stardock Game (d/l now) I know I will ove it and I am equally dellighted to be back in chatting to this great community...now where's Frogboy?.....
