Hello to all. I'm a newbie modder who has so far produced a small project involving the creation of races from the game Freelancer (based in the universe of the Discovery mod, which I play) and have hit an unusual situation involving one particular race, the Nomads (an ancient alien race created by an even more ancient, Mithrilar-esque race called the Daam K'vosh who possess other organisms in a Goa'uld like fashion and guard K'Vosh territory with a zeal).
I wish to make the Nomads playable, as they are by Discovery standards powerful yet capable of being balanced, their wanted total deficiency in diplomacy among it.
I would like to set the Nomads to have the same diplomatic engine as the Dread Lords, who are nigh-impossible to talk to and hostile at the start to all. Part of what I have done is setting their alignment far above the others (as they are not malevolent) and maximising their militarism. However, I would like to know what script or file controls the special status of the Dread Lords (who do not appear on Minor Races) and thus create a race that players can play, but will be unable to make peace with any civilization.
