impossible to update my game... correct key-number refused...????

HELP!!!

Hi,

I'm quite disappointed because I bought today Galactic Civilizations 2 and I wanted directly update the game to the latest version, but I can't. In order to have the update I should download the programm from Stardock. After that they ask me to give my serail-number. Easy I wrote it up and... it didn't work! The program says my key-number is false ????  It's amazing. I bought the game by Saturn in Francfort (Germany) and this serial-number is on the CD because there is no book. So I wrote exactly the serial-number that is on the cd, why it is not working???

Paradox recently did a rerelease and they've put out a lot of bad serials. Please contact [email protected] about it and they can get you a working code.

"The product appears to be validaded but the serial number or the machine SID don't
match." then the start menu vanish and that's that.

delete the sig.bin file in your GC2 folder

can somebody tell me about this file it's same type of file than that sig.bin but it
says debug.err and it's in the GC2 folder???....

Debug.err is just a text log file that the game writes to provide troubleshooting info in case something goes wrong.
