Greetings all,

I haven't played this game in awhile, and I decided to get back into it. The problem is, I can't get it to install now! It just completely hangs once I pick the directory I want it to go to and click continue on the next screen or three. I'm using XP. The drive runs and runs and runs but I never see any status indication or ever get any error message or asked to isntall the second disc. I've let it run for 30 mintues and nothing. All I get is the background screen and that's it.

I've also attempted to install it under safe mode and I get the same thing, although once in awhile it will say there's an I/O error, abort or retry. It did this once when trying to install it under normal mode, I think its when I kicked out the disc. It's worked before, but it was a few installs of XP ago. I don't remember what I did last time, and I can't find anything on the forums regarding this particular issue. Everyone seems to get to a certain percentage before it crashes, mine never gets started as near as I can tell. Any help would be appreciated!
