That is likely going to be my next car. It rocks to say the least.
BTW: It also has a trunk. I fully expect it to become the next great evolution for cars in coming years.

Tesla cars are vaporware to this date- and probably for some time to come. They've quietly laid off a good portion of their staff [including development]. I think they made a whole lot of promises they're having a hard time delivering on.

Besides, what's the point of driving somewhere so I can wait 12 hours with it plugged in to drive anywhere else?

This car makes absolutely -no- sense in the grand scheme of things... Add in the costs of manufacturing and disposing of 2000Lith-Ion batteries, as well as the cost of the electricity [both in terms of dollar cost and environmental impact -haha-] and you have a car that's worse than its gasoline powered contemporaries. All for the not-so-impressive price of approximately $100,000. Pass.

who gives a damn about a car based off of technology that is nearly two centuries old?

electrochemical cell --- aka battery, its nothing really impressive. as was pointed out cars dont generally run on batteries for a reason.

Alright I find this whole thread intirly insulting

My online name is EvilTesla.....I know much about the original tesla (will get into later into post)

Also my last name is Hare, so I find this thing about Hair being insulting.

Back to the real tesla, he proposed an electric car back in the early nineteen hundreds.
