... a very bad thing; to the thalans... they were my friends. Some how they managed to not colonize a single world, not one. However that one world had 2-300% researcgh tiles their tech capital and their manufacturing capital. All i could think was MMMMmmmm.
I was the Drath (playing masochistic). early in the game the Korx picked on me and the Thalans GAVE me some ships, I didnt even have to ask. They're so nice. So time goes by and i remember their nice homeworld and how vulnerable they are to their neighbors, the Drengin. If only i could liberate them i thought. But the ships they had in orbit were way to powerful for mine. I did have a transport or two nearby though.
But these were my friends, our relationship said so, "friendly" it said. How could I think about... its too horrible my concience told me. No matter, as good as my civ was i couldnt take it 2 -300% bonus tiles and another tech capital!!. So, i traded them all of my techs (excpt anything to do with soldering) and got their ships in return. Not only did i now have the ships to attck them with, but they had fewer defenders, which were no match for the ones i aquired. That same turn.... the Thalans were no more. I felt bad for what i had done. the traded me the ships i used to destroy them. How could I do such a thing to my friends?
its... its... pretty funny actually.
