Object flipping in 3DSMAX

modelling trouble

i want my designs to be perfectly symetrical so is it possible to make an object and then duplicate it and flip it so that it's the exact opposite for ex. can i take something like IIOO and get OOII (of course this is just an example, i'm asking about a 3D object) on the other side?
any help would be appreciated.

Use the Symmetry modifier to do this while modelling, there's a mirror command as well to duplicate an object and mirror the duplicate around the x, y, or z axis. Can't remember the exact name right now but look for mirror in the help file.
