In our galaxy of many stars... Of many planets that orbit them profusely... With a stunning air of majesty and unwavering loyalty to their distinct and never faltering rotations lived a man by the name of RisingLegend. Born into a family, that since his birth had never been whole, RisingLegend soon became fed up with his life on the planet of Betelguese I. In vain he searched for purpose, and through toil he found none. He left his mother, in search of his father, at the very young age of fourteen. After doing some menial jobs for the next three years he was able to attain enough wealth for a ticket to Earth, the human homeworld that he had heard so much about. There he attended a naval academy and became a pilot in the Terran Alliance Navy Corp. While allowed to travel at will during times of peace, he abused this position often by way of black-market drug dealing. And one day he decided not to return. He joined a band of space pirates, and continued on to hijack freighters for the next 12 years of his life. In all of this, he began to ponder his existence, as well as that of the world around him. As of now, RisingLegend's whereabouts are unknown, but his datapad was found in a pirate base that was infiltrated by the Terran marines earlier this week... His questions will be posted here in hopes that some higher power will be able to answer them:
- Is there going to be a small "tech tree" of sorts for the DreadLords, and do they get unique buildings for themselves?
- Are the Arnor going to appear similar to how the Dreadlords do in a sandbox map?
- Are there going to be a seperate ship templates for old Arnorian corvettes and Rangers that you find on your planets? Possibly organic?
- Speaking of organic ships, you stated that Iconian ships have this ability. Will they look different than metal?
- Are pirates gonna form from current ship styles and templates that are available to the AI and player, or are they going to be oddly stronger than everyone else? - I assume that this would also lead to the follow up on whether or not freighters would be a huge target since they carry a lot of goods... The money they get off it could then be used to support and upgrade their ships since they tend to disband them a lot...
- Just adding that story about pirates got me thinking. Could their bases be on asteroids, and you have to invade them like planets to take back your mines... Idk, at least they could take over someone's planet right? It would be better than the Jagged Knife I think...
- How is spying going to be handled this time around? The same way?
- Not to seem too eager... but what kind of things you guys thinking of for planetary invasion?
- a totally random one, just for fun and more a part of the back-story... but do the Arceans have dreadlocks (I saw this referenced in a AAR) kinda like Predators off of Alien vs. Predators? - If you can't answer any of the others for reasons like "it's a surprise", please answer this one.
