In the past, I was able to play Galactic Civilizations II fine. Well, I had to have the graphics turned way down, but at least it ran. However, it had been a year or two since I played last and I decided to boot it up. Now, all it gives me is a black screen. It had been uninstalled, so this is a fresh install.

Is that last line saying that my monitor/graphics card is incompatible with GalCiv2? I am not particularly hardware-savvy and I am not sure I understand.
