Uncontrollable Spinning

ALL orbiting views of planets, spaceships, and so on accelerate out of control resulting in the image spinning out of control in a blur. My alternate PC with it's inferior graphics card does not seem to have this issue. With leads me to believe, using blind logic, that my Geforce 8800 GTS is not fully supported by this game.

I am currently using drivers downloaded from invidia about 10 minutes ago; Version:163.75 Release Date:November 6, 2007 Operating System:Windows XP,Windows XP Media Center Edition.

Are their any other possible fixes available or in the works?

Sounds like you have a dual core AMD cpu. You need to update it's drivers to fix it.

Planets and ships spinning out of control is most generally due to the use of an Athlon 64 x2 CPU without updated CPU drivers. If this the case with your machine, download and install the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) file found at the bottom of this page.
