Races Trade Screen

I'm making a mod with custom races pretty much, but whenever I use custom race pics the trade screen doesn't really work, it just stretches the original image. Is there any solution, like amking a trade pic, and if so, how would i implement it. Or is there a way to stop the computer stretching the image?

Create a separate image 393x256 of your race image and place in the same location as your race portrait then open the customracexml with a text editor and change the line (DefaultTradePortrait) to point to the new image you created. change the name in the next two entries to the same as this one and it should work ok for you.
There may be an easier way but this i know works

Um, what are the customracexml, or where are they held? I'm just using a single PNG file extension for the race image, and a different one for the race logo at the moment.

If you're using DA, the customracexml contains all the data about you're custom race, and can be found in My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar.
