Where'd all my money go?!

Any one else looking for this?

I find that when I am running in the red, and that is often on game start, I have to check my finance screen each turn to be sure my income didn't take a nosedive deeper into the red. I would just love it if the HUD showed me how much I'm making (or loosing) per week. It would also be grand, though to a lesser extent, to have a reading of how much my population is growing per week as well. Any chance this feature is on its way and I just missed it? Does anyone else need this too?

BTW, this window is white and so are all the field titles. I have to select all text on the screen to read them.

Can't help you with the population or white-screen issue, but you can simply hover on your treasury display on the main screen to see your total income, expenses, and profit/loss.

I've got that too if creating new posts. Visiting over forums.galciv2.com, using most recent version of Firefox as browser.

The only invisible texts I get are the labels on the insert image, insert url, etc, popups. Everything else is fine. If you're seeing something else, post a screenshot of it if possible.

My sub points are always more interesting than my main ones.

With that in mind, the sub point is on topic. While I realize that I can hover my mouse to see my current rate of income or deficit, it would be really nice if that information could be obtained at a glace whenever I feel it needed. I have tried to just forget about it and hover. However, since I started playing the game (which I enjoy immensely) I have always expected the data to be right there.

Well, since I'm mentioning these, there are two other items that just sting when I go to use them and they aren't there.

-Greater color picker functionality for race creation. It should be able to copy colors from one slot to the next, and change the data on the color picker to match the color you just selected on left. That way you can click it and them make small changes to perfect things a bit. Please!

-Text carat above text and the ability to mouse click into the middle of text. As it stands now, when you click on a text item -- say when saving a ship design -- your carat goes to the front of the text. The carat itself is a character that appears to move about within the string itself rather than being drawn above or behind the text so that the characters do not move when changing position. This would make it much easier to edit the text when it is necessary.

I'm not trying to nitpick here, I promise! My enjoyment of the game would just be that much deeper if I had these tools at my mousetip.
