Some Modded Planets not appearing

I changed the planets that appear in races starting systems. The first 6 races i changed went fine but when i checked the last 6 they hadnt changed at all. Instead of the planets id added they had a set of 5 default planets.

I've checked the CustomPlanets.xml and i cant see where ive gone wrong. Can anyone help?

If everything after a certain point is 'missing', then most likely you just made a typo at a certain point, so the game stops reading the file there.

Check especially for a missing/double open/closing marks. Not tags, simply the brackets that open and close a tag. These tiny, oft unnoticed things cause much difficulty.

The system planets are visable but its not the ones that ive entered into the customplanets.xml.

The first 6 systems i altered have all been fine but none of the last 6 have worked. ARggggh i'll go back and check for typo's. Any other advice?

open the the html file in Internet explore if there a typo it will tell you !!!

it well read down to where the mistake is if there is one and well not read after the mistake

Alora (and Ra'nagoh) never seem to work because there's a missing < DisplayName > string right after the stars' internal names. Did you fix that before you started changing them?

Hi, thanks for the replies.

Yeah i had changed Alora and Ra'nagoh and added the missing . Would i be right in thinking that if all the planets show up fine until the Dominion of Korx system then the error must be in the Korx system?

I opened up the xml in internet explorer and it said

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

That was at the start of the Arcean system details but in game that system shows up fine. Im confused.

Sounds like you've got a missing/typoed </TerrainPalette> tag, then.

Thanks for everyones help and suggestions. It was an extra letter r in the spelling of terrain on one of the planets.
