Ships are solid white w/no texture or bump after upgrading to GCDA

I have an NVIDIA GeForce MX 4000. I have been playing Galactic Civilizations for a few weeks and absolutely love the game, wanted more variety and bought the upgrade to Dark Avatar today. It runs great except that the ships are solid White with no texture or Bump mapping at all. They look like they where literally cut out from the background. The worlds and everything else seems to work fine.

Please help!

Turn off the 'enhanced ship rendering' option.
