In the root Gerontocracy thread, I made a less-than-half joking post that our little empire should recruit the venerable Mumblefratz. Others, including our emporer, agreed, but the Metaverse has no impressment functions (read up on British Navy history) and we can't figure out how to place influence starbases in forum threads.

I mean no disrespect to the Diplomats. Y'all are a mighty horde led by a large core of strong players, but you kind of lack flavor. We have a comfy home for a man whose avatar is Martin Luther, whose screen name seems a foreshadow of our empire, and whose constructive curmudgeonliness is a legend on this forum.

I only wish Mumble were not quite the scoremonster that he is. I'm poaching on style grounds here, but confess I understand that if he'll jump ship, our empire's rank might go up.
