QQ: does load game still give ai an extra turn?

qq = quick question, in this case

awhile back it was revealed that the ai received a turn at the start of every load game. i've looked but haven't been able to find anything about this recently.

is this still the case? i'm running into audio bugs and have to quicksave > quit > reload to fix it. i mean i can turn all the audio off and chip away at the weeks of mp3s i've got here but i love love love the music in this game.

It wasn't an entire turn so much as the AI getting an extra opportunity to rush-buy things, but either way it was fixed in 1.6.

Nice to hear it was fixed!

Yea people who can only play for short periods of time (busy lives) had a dissadvantage.

Each individual reload giving The AI a bit more help but only if the reloaded game is saved each time. So somone who keeps reloading to get a better game result would not suffer much dissadvantage (since they would not be saving each reload).
