I'm not really sure if this is the right place to put this, but I thought it was better then any other options I saw.

I'm trying to import some ship designs from the main library (here at galciv2.com), notably the following

The issue I'm having is even after I download them, and extract them into the My Documents/My Games/GC2DarkAvatar/ships folder I still can't use them. I'm not playing as the terran alliance, but the custom race I'm using has the terran ship style. Basically I'm asking what exactly I'm missing, as this problem seems to be... shall we say non-existant for others.

I'm running Dark Avatar (the version out of the two pack) and have updated the game to the current version. I have (in the game I'm currently playing, and have been trying to use them in) researched through huge sized ships.

Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
